Ingredients

  • Softened butter - 115g/ ½ cup
  • Sugar - 25g/ 6 tsp
  • Bananas(medium-sized) - 5 nos
  • Milk - 177ml/ ¾ cup
  • All-purpose flour - 240g/ 2 cups
  • Baking powder - 4.8g/ 1 tsp
  • Baking soda - 3g/ ½ tsp
  • Cinnamon powder - 2.6g/ 1 tsp 
  • Dark chocolate chunks - 170g/ ½ cup
  • Dark chocolate chunks(topping) - 5g/ 1 tsp 

Instructions

  1. In a mixer grinder, add the sugar.
  2. Whip it once for a second and then turn it off, aiming for a slightly finer sugar texture. Avoid turning it into powdered sugar. 
  3. Next, preheat the oven to 180°C and line a loaf tin with parchment paper, setting it aside for later use.
  4. Chop the dark chocolate and keep it aside.
  5. In a bowl, combine the butter and sugar.
  6. Mix well until you achieve a smooth and fluffy texture. 
  7. In a separate bowl, thoroughly mash the bananas. 
  8. Add the mashed bananas to the butter mixture and mix well.
  9. Then, incorporate the milk and mix again.
  10. Sift in the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon powder into the mixture.
  11. Mix well until everything is well combined.

  13. Transfer the mixture to the prepared loaf tin. 
  14. Slice a banana into halves.
  15. Place the banana slices on top of the mixture. 
  16. Next, top it with chopped dark chocolate. 
  17. Bake in the preheated oven at 180°C For 40-45 minutes. 
  18. Serve and enjoy!
