Eggless Reindeer Cookies

Eggless reindeer cookies are cheerful sugar cookies made without eggs, making them perfect for the holiday season. Crafted from simple ingredients like butter and sugar, these cookies are decorated to resemble adorable reindeer, featuring melted chocolate and colorful chocolate beans or gems. Ingredients

  • Softened butter - 57g/ 1/4 cup 
  • Powdered sugar - 60g/ 1/2 cup 
  • All-purpose flour - 120g/ 1 cup 
  • Corn flour - 12g/ 1.5 tbsp 
  • Vanilla essence - 2.5g/ 1/2 tsp 
  • Milk - 22.5g/ 1.5 tbsp
  • Milk Chocolate - 125g/ 8 tbsp
  • Choco beans/ Choco Gems - 8 nos (as required)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the butter and sugar.  
  2. Mix until the butter turns white, creamy, and fluffy.  
  3. Sieve in all-purpose flour and corn flour to the butter mixture.  
  4. Mix thoroughly until everything is well combined.  
  5. Incorporate the milk and vanilla essence.  
  6. Use your hand and mix until you achieve a smooth dough.  
  7. Lay out cling wrap on a flat surface and place the dough onto the cling wrap and spread it slightly.  
  8. Properly cover the dough with the cling wrap.  
  9. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.  
  10. After 30 minutes, remove the dough and place it on parchment paper.  
  11. Cover the dough with another piece of parchment paper and roll the dough to a thickness of 1/4 inch.  
  12. Remove the parchment paper and cut the cookies using a circular cookie cutter.  
  13. Since we're making reindeer cookies, use a bottle cap to press into the cookie dough as shown below.  
  14. Arrange the cut cookie dough on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.  
  15. Bake at 180°C for 12 minutes.  
  16. Once baked, allow the cookies to cool completely.  
  17. Chop the milk chocolate.  
  18. Microwave the milk chocolate for 30 seconds until melted.  
  19. Transfer the melted chocolate into a piping bag.  
  20. Fill the bottle cap’s dent in the cookie with the melted chocolate.  
  21. Pipe antlers onto the cookies.  
  22. Place chocolate beans or gems on the cookies as shown below.  
  23. Serve and enjoy!
