Ingredients

  • Dark Compound Chocolate - 200g/ 1 cup
  • Unsalted Butter - 115g / ½ cup
  • Granulated Sugar - 100g  / ½ cup
  • All Purpose Flour - 80g / ¾ cup
  • Cocoa Powder - 35g / ⅓ cup
  • Salt- 1.42g/ ¼ tsp
  • Baking Powder - 10g/ 2 tsp
  • Curd-177ml/  ¾ cups

Instructions

  1. Line an 8 x 8-inch baking tray with butter paper and set it aside. 
  2. Combine maida, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder in a sieve, and sift them together before setting them aside. 
  3. Microwave the chocolate and butter for 30 seconds, stirring until completely melted.
  4. Next, incorporate curd and sugar into the melted chocolate, whisking until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  5. Add this liquid mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well until well combined. 
  6. Transfer the mixture to the lined tray and tap it gently on the counter to release any excess air. 
  7. Bake the tray in the oven at 180°C for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. 
  8. Let the brownies rest for at least 30 minutes. 
  9. Once they have cooled, cut them into your desired shape. Serve and enjoy!!
