Ingredients
- All-Purpose Flour-210g/ 1 ½ cup
- Granulated Sugar- 150g/ ¾ cup
- Baking Powder- 12g/ 1 tbsp
- Salt-0.6g/ ⅛ tsp ( a pinch)
- Vegetable Oil- 75ml/ ⅓ cup
- warm water 90-1100F (32-430C)- 250ml/ 1 cup
- Vanilla Extract/ Essence - 15ml/ 1 tbsp
- White chocolate(chopped)- 300g/ 2 cups
- Dairy cream- 100g/ 100ml
Instructions
Vanilla Cupcake
- Preheat the oven to 180°C for 10 mins and line your tray with cupcake liners.
- In a big bowl, sift together all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Then, mix in the granulated sugar.
- In another bowl, combine warm water with oil and vanilla essence, mixing well.
- Gradually add the oil mixture to the flour mixture, stirring until smooth and free of lumps.
- Transfer the batter to a piping bag and fill the cupcake liners halfway.
- Bake in the preheated oven at 180°C for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cupcakes cool in the cooling rack.
- In a saucepan, heat the cream until it simmers, seeing small bubbles at the edge of the pan. Be careful not to let the cream boil.
- Pour the hot cream over the chocolate, ensuring all the chocolate is covered by the cream.
- Cover the bowl with a plate and let it sit for 5 minutes to allow the heat inside the bowl to melt the chocolate.
- After 5 minutes, stir the chocolate and cream well. If there are lumps, you can double boil it until the ganache becomes smooth and silky. To double boil, place a heatproof bowl over simmering water, letting the gentle heat melt the ingredients without burning them.
- Allow the ganache to cool at room temperature, then cover and refrigerate it for four hours.
- After four hours, you will have a thick, spreadable ganache.
- Use an electric mixer to beat the ganache until it becomes white and fluffy to create a whipped white chocolate ganache. Be cautious not to overbeat, as it may cause the ganache to separate.
- Transfer the ganache to a piping bag and pipe it onto the cupcakes. Serve and enjoy!
