- Milk powder - 15g/2 tbsp
- Vanilla essence - 5ml/1 tsp
- Powdered sugar - 15g/ 2 tbsp

- Preheat the oven to 180°C, line a loaf tin with parchment paper, and set it aside for later.
- In a saucepan, pour the milk.
- Add the star anise, clove, ginger, and cinnamon.
- Now include the black pepper powder and nutmeg powder.
- Place the saucepan on medium heat and allow it to simmer.
- Once it simmers, let it cool completely by covering it with a plate and setting it aside.
